Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is a specialized, gentle skin massage used to relieve painful swelling (lymphoedema) by encouraging the natural flow of lymph fluid. It uses light, rhythmic pumping and circular movements rather than deep tissue pressure, making it highly effective for post-surgery recovery, fluid retention, and fibromyalgia.

We have been unable to help people looking for MLD massage (these specially trained therapists are few and far between!) but we are delighted that Rebecca Otto, our therapeutic massage therapist has undergone the rigorous training required and is now registered with the British Lymphology Society. Appointments with Rebecca are available to book online or by contacting our reception team.

All patients need to attend a 90 minute initial consultation for their first MLD appointment. Follow-up treatments are either 60 minutes or 90 minutes duration, depending on presentation.

See Rebecca's registration here (No 12 on the East Midlands listing)
