I qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 1994 from Birmingham School of Physiotherapy. Once qualified, I went to work at one of the UK’s leading teaching hospitals, Addenbrookes in Cambridge. Here I gained a wealth of experience in neurological rehabilitation, cardiothoracic rehab, orthopaedics and musculoskeletal medicine.
I continued to gain experience whilst working in Melbourne Australia, before returning to Cambridge, where I specialised in musculoskeletal medicine working in the Addenbrookes sports injury clinic. I also worked alongside GP’s working in both the NHS and private practice. I moved to the Stamford area 17 years ago and have worked in private practice since. I have continued with my professional development in all aspects of musculoskeletal medicine, including backs, necks, shoulders and sports injuries
I have been teaching Pilates for 17 years and am passionate about restoring normal movement to help the body use its full potential. I use manual therapy and exercise to help patients reach there goals, whether it’s a stroll around the garden or running a marathon. My passion for movement has been underpinned whilst studying with the leading elite performance and rehabilitation specialist Joanne Elphinstone.
