We are delighted to soon be welcoming Cathy Bridges to the practice - Cathy is an experienced Nurse Practitioner with over 31 years of nursing experience, including 15 years specialising in respiratory care and diagnostics.
The current waiting times for specialist respiratory diagnostic testing through the NHS are long and patients are suffering whilst waiting. While she continues in her NHS role, Cathy has founded SpiroSense in order to give patients the option of getting high-quality lung function and FeNO testing performed in a timely manner allowing for rapid, clear diagnosis and informing the most effective pathway for the management of the patient's condition.
Within her private clinic here at The Broad Street Practice, Cathy's aim is to provide accurate, professional, patient-centred assessments in a calm and welcoming environment, helping patients gain a better understanding of their respiratory health with results available within 48 hours. The results report can then be taken to the GP or repiratory specialist for the support needed to improve symptons and quality of life.
