Whilst the Practice is busy and runs at a high room occupancy rate, as in life, people come and go. Many of our practitioners have been with us for ten years or more, but others move on....For this reason we welcome applications from experienced healthcare practitioners whose area of expertise fits with the general ethos of the practice.
All our practitioners are self-employed, some pay an hourly rate for rental of room (+/- an amount for reception and fee handling services), for either regular or ad-hoc hours. Other key practitioners pay a percentage of the money received in fees.

The studio provides 32sqm of space, high ceilings, wooden floor. There are chairs for seating for up to 25. The studio can be made available into the evenings or at weekends, by arrangement.
Bookings may be regular, or on a one-off basis - dependent on availability.
It lends itself to small-group classes (private 1-2-1 sessions, couples, family groups or up to 6 or 7 people) where clients can benefit from close supervision. We are interested to hear from practitioners interested in using the studio as a venue for classes, courses or workshops. Because the studio is on the first floor, with consulting rooms below, we cannot have anyone jumping around, stamping feet or making a lot of noise!
Suitable activities may include:
- Yoga (including for children)
- Tai Chi
- Ante-natal classes
- First Aid workshops
- Mental Health First Aid
- Healthcare related talks and presentations
Studio hire is at fixed hourly rate - minimum of two hours - with 15 minutes uncharged time before and after for setting up or tidying away. All bookings and payments for classes and courses to be handled directly between practitioner and client. Bookings and fee handling services may be available.
